The tachometer shows frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of the engine in terms of 1000 mines-1(fig. 1.53).
ATTENTION
It is forbidden to exceed admissible turns of a cranked shaft of the engine: the arrow of a tachometer should not come into the RED ZONE of a scale. It can lead to an engine exit out of operation.
