2.2.6. Hermetic removal

After extraction of assembly bolts and nuts, use the suitable tool for hermetic removal (fig. 2.87).

ATTENTION
Try not to damage a detail surface.

Delete hermetic as it is possible more carefully from surfaces, deepenings and from openings of assembly bolts by means of the suitable tool, for example, a scraper. If it is necessary, heat up a surface a little and remove particles of the dried-up hermetic by means of a piece of the matter moistened with gasoline.

Having finished operations put new hermetic (fig. 2.88).
Try to use firm hermetic or its equivalent.
After laying of new hermetic wait for 5 mines and establish the interfaced detail. Remove surplus of hermetic with a matter slice.
Tighten assembly bolts.
