3.3.4.9. Installation of a cable of blocking

Be convinced of that the lever of the selector is in situation P and the ignition key is in the situation LOCK.

Press the mechanism of blocking and rest it against an arm of the limiter of a pedal of a brake.

From this situation move the blocking mechanism reliably to fix a hook of the mechanism of blocking in an arm opening, as is shown in drawing drawing 3.94.

ATTENTION The excess or twisting of a cable of blocking at installation can negatively affect operation of the mechanism of blocking.

Establish a tip of a cable of blocking on a cam pin on the selector lever (fig. 3.95).

Lay a blocking cable in an U-shaped groove of a basic plate of the lever of the selector and establish a clip (fig. 3.96).

ATTENTION The annex of effort to a blocking cable at installation of a clamp can negatively affect operation of the mechanism of blocking.

Press a clamp of a cable of blocking before it will block.

Remove a pin of the mechanism of blocking, as is shown in drawing 3.97.

Turn the ignition key in situation ASS.

Establish a blocking cable on the key cylinder.

Move the external case to the cylinder of a key and establish a clip on a convex part of the external case (fig. 3.98).
