5.3.4.1. Check of a steering rack

Check a lath on cracking, damage and wear of teeths. Replace a lath if necessary.

Measure lath palpation (fig. 5.27).

Palpation:

at most about A point: 0,15 mm;

at most about B point: 0,20 mm.

If palpation does not correspond to norm, replace a lath.
