5.2.2.1. Check of a free wheeling of a steering wheel

Establish wheels in the provision of rectilinear movement and, slightly turning a steering wheel to the left and to the right, check compliance of a free wheeling to norm.
If the free wheeling of a steering wheel does not correspond to norm, wear of hinges of steering drafts, wear or an excessive gap in the steering mechanism can be the reason. Execute repair if necessary.
Free wheeling of a steering wheel: 0–30 mm.
