3.4.4.1. Gap check in the bearing of a nave of a back wheel

Remove a back wheel.
Disconnect a forward support of a disk brake.

Remove a brake disk (fig. 3.117).

Establish the indicator of hour type against a wheel nave (fig. 3.118).
Moving a wheel nave manually in the axial direction, measure a gap in the nave bearing.
At most: 0,05 mm.
If the gap exceeds a maximum replace the bearing.

ATTENTION
Performance of the following procedures without preliminary removal of the sensor of speed of a wheel of anti-blocking system of brakes can lead to chain break in a plait of wires if the plait is by mistake tense. Before performance of the following operations remove the sensor of speed of a wheel of anti-blocking system of brakes (from a body) and fix it in a suitable place where the sensor will not be by mistake damaged at service performance.
