1.2.2.6. Conditions of operation of safety cushions

Face-to-face safety cushions work under mentioned below conditions.
– Force of front blow of the car exceeds the set size.
– The direct head-on collision of the car with a rigid not deformable wall at speed of the car is higher than 22 km/h.
– Arrival on a border, the curb or a firm strong subject.
– A rigid landing after a jump or car falling.
– Slanting blow in a forward part of the car, directed within 60-degree sector.
– Hit in a deep hole or collision with a hole wall.
Conditions at which face-to-face safety cushions can not work, are listed below.
– Collision with a tree or column. Despite strong damages of a body to similar failures, longitudinal delay of the car can not exceed the set size at which should work face-to-face safety cushions.
Slanting blow forward part of the car. In this case the longitudinal delay tested by the car, can not exceed the set size at which should work face-to-face safety cushions.
