Establish the screen for adjustment of light of headlights, as is shown in drawing 7.22.

Finish pressure of air in tires to norm.

Establish not loaded car on a horizontal surface.

Place one person to the place of the driver.

Establish the car directly and perpendicular to a wall.

Establish headlights at distance of 3 m from a wall (fig. 7.23).

At adjustment of one headlight, close another.

Start the engine for additional charge of the storage battery.

Include a passing beam.

Establish the switch of the proof-reader of headlights in situation 0.

Adjust headlights rotation of adjusting screws, as is shown in drawing 7.24. At first weaken screws, then tighten them.

NOTE If at first to tighten, and then to weaken adjusting screws, they will turn away at car movement that will lead to violation of adjustment of headlights.

Rotating adjusting screws, adjust a headlight so that the point of intersection of horizontal and inclined sites of light spots was in the place shown in shaded area of drawing 7.25.
